Happy earth day from last month. And so

I've been contemplating that. It's

funny because I'm traveling tomorrow, so I'm going to be up in the air, and

Melissa Amos:

when I go travelling, I feel quite up in the air. I get in my

Melissa Amos:

head and there's all the stuff to do and

Melissa Amos:

pack and organize and all the things, and my

Melissa Amos:

body definitely responds to being in the air.

Melissa Amos:

It tries to ground me. So it's interesting that today I'm

Melissa Amos:

contemplating the earth and her energy and her

Melissa Amos:

support. I'm running an activation,

Melissa Amos:

a grounding activation, in my soul space community today.

Melissa Amos:

Yeah, I'm in that. I'm going to say I'm in that duality

Melissa Amos:

of being up in the clouds and down in the earth and just trying to

Melissa Amos:

find that equilibrium. Isn't that interesting? We

Beth Hewitt:

talk a lot about grounding, don't we? And being with nature

Beth Hewitt:

and reconnecting. But when we're in the air, we're

Beth Hewitt:

in this vessel, this man made vessel in the sky. We're

Beth Hewitt:

inside this little container and we're not touching the ground and we're not surrounded

Beth Hewitt:

by the water. So it is one of the only times where we're just

Beth Hewitt:

literally bobbing, bobbing around in the sky.

Melissa Amos:

It's funny because in chinese medicine, when they work with the

Melissa Amos:

elements, they've got, the metal plays a big part with

Melissa Amos:

the. With the lungs, isn't it? Which is where the air comes

Melissa Amos:

and goes. So when I've been working with my

Melissa Amos:

Shaolin master, last time I went away, he was

Melissa Amos:

talking to me about grounding while you're on an airplane.

Beth Hewitt:

Interesting. So just imagine you grounding and imagine the roots

Melissa Amos:

and just feel that and see if you can. Or

Melissa Amos:

feel if you can notice when you go from

Melissa Amos:

being above earth to being above water while

Melissa Amos:

you're ground. Yeah. And doing that,

Melissa Amos:

doing all these, like, energetic exercises while you're in the air can

Melissa Amos:

be really interesting. Yeah. Some qigong,

Melissa Amos:

because it's your. Technically, the

Melissa Amos:

metal could be amplifying

Melissa Amos:

our energetics and helping us connect high.

Melissa Amos:

We're not a million miles from earth when we're on a plane

Melissa Amos:

compared to how far we are from the sun. Right. It's not that

Melissa Amos:

significant. So I always find a little bit of time

Melissa Amos:

when I'm on the airplane to figure what's going on out with my

Melissa Amos:

energy and with that more, because my body physically

Melissa Amos:

starts to want to ground itself. Yeah,

Melissa Amos:

get like, swollen feet and it's literally my body going

Melissa Amos:

ground, Melissa. We'll see what happens. We've also got all of the

Beth Hewitt:

other energies in the very contained space of people that we don't

Beth Hewitt:

know. We've got all the bags, we've got all the anticipation of where they're going,

Beth Hewitt:

all the journey. There's all kinds of stuff going on in that little space as

Beth Hewitt:

well. All the stress, all the stresses of

Beth Hewitt:

transportation, usually. Obviously, I'm traveling with my

Melissa Amos:

children and this time I am not, so this is going to be a very

Melissa Amos:

different for me. But, yeah, I think it's something

Melissa Amos:

that I never used to consider and now I mega consider.

Melissa Amos:

It's such a stressful place. Yeah. People were running

Melissa Amos:

for their flights and people were scared on the plane and people

Melissa Amos:

were thinking they're going to be late and everyone's out of their comfort zone.

Melissa Amos:

Like pretty much, probably 95% more of

Melissa Amos:

people there outside the comfort zone. And as energy sensitive

Melissa Amos:

beings, we're picking up on all of that. So even if you are like, yeah,

Melissa Amos:

I'm ready and I'm sorted, you start

Melissa Amos:

to absorb some of that. Yeah. Do you have

Melissa Amos:

any top tips for travellers? I mean,

Beth Hewitt:

I always talk about intention, generally about everything, and I think if you want to

Beth Hewitt:

have a stress free journey, then you can set that intention,

Beth Hewitt:

but you could also. It's also that time. It's

Beth Hewitt:

one of those times, like whether you're on a train or you're on a

Beth Hewitt:

plane, where you can actually use

Beth Hewitt:

that time. You don't have to be getting the laptop out and working or you

Beth Hewitt:

don't have to be answering the phone calls where you can actually

Beth Hewitt:

meditate or switch off or

Beth Hewitt:

visualize how you want the rest of the day to go. We don't get

Beth Hewitt:

those times very often where we can just stop. And I think

Beth Hewitt:

I used to do a lot of that on train journeys, for sure. I always

Melissa Amos:

get very. It's weird, when I'm on the train,

Melissa Amos:

I always get, like, super creative. I think it's because there's no

Melissa Amos:

incoming. Yeah, maybe. And I, like,

Melissa Amos:

write these amazing posts or so maybe I will get

Melissa Amos:

my laptop out. But more for creation rather than

Melissa Amos:

absorption. I think it's the mixture of being in a different environment

Beth Hewitt:

and. But also moving. Yeah, you're in a different space, but

Beth Hewitt:

also the vessel is also moving really quickly through different

Beth Hewitt:

sceneries and different people coming onto the train. And yeah, there's

Beth Hewitt:

something to be had, for sure. For sure. I think my top

Melissa Amos:

tips when I travel is obviously the practical things

Melissa Amos:

are important. Make sure that you've got your things organized

Melissa Amos:

and check it before the night before. And I say this

Melissa Amos:

because this is not me. Like, for me, I'm very much, yeah, I'll be fine.

Melissa Amos:

And leave it to the last minute. I know where my passport is. Yes, I

Beth Hewitt:

do. My puzzle is out already. Just be as organized as you

Melissa Amos:

can so that you can be in as

Melissa Amos:

practically. You can be in as still a point as

Melissa Amos:

usual as possible. We were speaking last time about

Melissa Amos:

crystals and using them. I do

Melissa Amos:

always wear very grounding crystals when I'm traveling,

Melissa Amos:

and I have this plasma necklace, which, when I

Melissa Amos:

wear it, I feel as if I've got this force field around me.

Melissa Amos:

Now, annoyingly, last time I wore it and

Melissa Amos:

threw the machines, so they had to,

Melissa Amos:

which wasn't nice. So I remember to take that off this time as I go

Melissa Amos:

through security. But, yeah, I do very intentionally use

Melissa Amos:

my crystals. I also love to work

Melissa Amos:

with the angelics when I'm traveling. And so

Melissa Amos:

Archangel Metatron is said to be the angel that can

Melissa Amos:

help you with time and travel and movement. So. So

Melissa Amos:

I will call upon him and say, thank you for this smooth

Melissa Amos:

journey. This is, like, your visualization, right? I'll say, thank you for the smooth

Melissa Amos:

journey. Thank you for keeping me calm, and thank you for everything

Melissa Amos:

happening on time as it is supposed to be. Thank you for

Melissa Amos:

keeping us safe and for us actually having some laughs or some

Melissa Amos:

this time, because not with my family. This time, it will be more.

Melissa Amos:

Thank you for giving me some time to chill out, for getting some work

done, arriving there on time, and then I'll see myself

getting to the villa with everybody together

whatever it is, that we have. Yeah. I like to call upon the

I sit there and I draw the Reiki distance symbol

on the. The roof of the roof of the plane.

Yeah. And I just imagine that kind of lit up all the

Melissa Amos:

way. They've got, like, the leds that go, like, down. So I imagine that the

Melissa Amos:

rokey distance symbol is, like, there, and then there's, like, an anchor point,

Melissa Amos:

the power symbol that I imagine at the front of the plane, and then

Melissa Amos:

also at the destination and then at the back of the plane, just,

Melissa Amos:

like, seal that and ground that in, and then I'll just say a little prayer.

Melissa Amos:

Thank you for keeping us all safe. Thank you for everybody on the plane staying

calm so I don't have to pick on their stuff and, yeah, thank you for

being a really enjoyable journey. And then off we go.

And everybody's beautifully well behaved on the plane.

None of the luggage goes missing and everything is as it

Beth Hewitt:

should. There was an episode, I don't know why this has just popped in my

Beth Hewitt:

head, totally random, but there was an episode of the Apprentice a couple of years

Beth Hewitt:

ago where they had to design an airline with the uniform and everything.

Beth Hewitt:

And I remember at the time thinking that I would call. I got really into

Beth Hewitt:

it, like as if I was the apprentice. I was going to call my airline

Beth Hewitt:

transcendence Airways,

Beth Hewitt:

because that was really calming. It would appeal to the older

Beth Hewitt:

clientele, though. No children would be allowed on transcendence airways.

Beth Hewitt:

It would just be for professionals. I

Beth Hewitt:

might have a children version of. That, but, yeah, we could have a children's

Melissa Amos:

cabin. A children's cabin, right. You could have a children's

Melissa Amos:

cabin. So, you know, like, you know, you have business class, first class.

Melissa Amos:

No, children class. Right. Children class. Children class.

Melissa Amos:

And in children class, they just have all the technology

Melissa Amos:

just to keep them busy. Yeah. And they'll just be like, loving life because

Melissa Amos:

they'll be like, this is the best thing ever. I can sit here for two,

Melissa Amos:

3410 hours on my technology and no one's going to tell

Melissa Amos:

me not to. Yeah, that's the battle. So this

Melissa Amos:

is genius. Transcendence airways.

music on board. Yeah. That was the whole thing. Like, you'd work. You would have

meditations going on and things. Therapy. Yeah.

anyway, while I'm on the phone. And the uniform was going to be

the hat was like, almost like a cloud. I really. I'd really got into it.

Beth Hewitt:

I really thought about it and I was very disappointed nobody had come up with

my idea. I'm loving that. I'm

loving that. If I ever see you on the apprentice, Beth, I will

Melissa Amos:

keep my. All my fingers crossed that task comes up and

that you are the project manager for that. Yeah, that's mine. That would be

I don't know, maybe 15 years. To think. I worked in business support, so when

I was managing business support programs, it was on. And that was 2014, and it

was happening well before that. So, yeah, I was like, I could

go on the apprentice. I could do that. And then people would say to me,

Melissa Amos:

like, mel, you should go on the apprentice. Yeah, I used to get that, too.

Beth Hewitt:

Yeah. My team used to say that. If you think about it,

Melissa Amos:

what do you think about the people on the apprentice? Not so much now, but

Melissa Amos:

then they'd get the kind of, should we call them

Melissa Amos:

personalities, and they'd make

Melissa Amos:

some questionable judgments. And then I'm thinking, is

Melissa Amos:

that how you see me? I

Beth Hewitt:

think it was probably for the opposite reason. I think.

Melissa Amos:

Yeah, we started in the clouds. How I feel

Melissa Amos:

now. I've got my cards out. Me too.

maybe it's wherever you are. This is really a message

to invite you to be seen and to

be prized for the uniqueness that you are, because

you look at a butterfly. And they do have these

Melissa Amos:

beautiful markings, and they look so elegant, and

Melissa Amos:

they always bring joy, don't they? Unfortunately, if you think about the insect

Melissa Amos:

kingdom, they don't always bring joy to the humans, do they?

Melissa Amos:

There's always something. Whereas a butterfly, there's something.

Melissa Amos:

Butterflies and ladybirds, right? There's something about them that just

Melissa Amos:

brings such joy and this,

Melissa Amos:

like, mesmerization, don't they? And I think for

Melissa Amos:

butterflies, we can often see them or know them to be these

Melissa Amos:

messages from the divine or messages from spirit. And actually,

Melissa Amos:

I asked what Mother Earth wanted to say. And they're bringing through

Melissa Amos:

this beautiful message of the butterfly,

Melissa Amos:

which, for the butterfly to get to where she is now with these

Melissa Amos:

beautiful wings and this ability to fly, she's had to go through it

Melissa Amos:

all. And she spent all of her

Melissa Amos:

life as a caterpillar just munching on the leaf that she now so gracefully

Melissa Amos:

sits on and then had to go into the unknown

Melissa Amos:

and just follow. She just followed her instincts right

Melissa Amos:

to myself, around me, this cocoon.

Melissa Amos:

I don't know what's going to happen. And she had to fully surrender.

Melissa Amos:

And this message feels to me more like, you've been through

Melissa Amos:

that. Just because that was your past, it doesn't mean

Melissa Amos:

that equals your future. Sometimes when we feel that and

Melissa Amos:

we've been through this real metamorphosis, we can

Melissa Amos:

feel like that's what we need to expect.

Melissa Amos:

But this message feels like that's been done. And now

Melissa Amos:

it's who I am. Look who I've become. Look

Melissa Amos:

how I can bring joy into other people's worlds just by

Melissa Amos:

flying around and showing my colors. And

Melissa Amos:

this really feels to me like a stand

Melissa Amos:

proud. If you could see this butterfly, it really

Melissa Amos:

looks, like, stable on its feet. It's flying in this

Melissa Amos:

picture. It's grounded in the picture. I think it's interesting as well. We're talking

about flight, and you're going flying today as well. We've got the butterfly

Beth Hewitt:

symbol. It's almost butterfly like as you're

Beth Hewitt:

traveling through the skies. That ease and grace of

Beth Hewitt:

just trusting that I'm heading in the right direction,

Beth Hewitt:

I will land when it's time to land, that everything that's

Beth Hewitt:

come before is now all worth it. I did say

Melissa Amos:

these orange and yellow. And the airline I'm flying

Melissa Amos:

there with is an orange airline, so that.

Melissa Amos:

And I'm wearing orange, though. And you're wearing orange as well. Yeah. I might wear

Melissa Amos:

it tomorrow. They'll think that I'm part of the crew. I might get upgraded. I

Beth Hewitt:

don't know. Swear orange. Be

three, butterfly regeneration. Fly like the butterfly,

but stay grounded and proud of who you

are, and don't be afraid to show off your uniqueness.

we're talking a lot about transportation, we're talking a lot about movement,

we're talking a lot about moving from one place

to another. And what nicer, rhythmic

way, almost like the butterfly, where a butterfly doesn't go

Beth Hewitt:

forward like a train or a plane, it flutters, it lands, it moves,

Beth Hewitt:

it sways, and I think, what a beautiful way to move from

Beth Hewitt:

one place to another, whether it's dance or some other way.

Melissa Amos:

It takes up space, doesn't it? Yeah. And when you dance, you take up

Melissa Amos:

space, unless you're doing the shuffle, which. Is fine, the

Beth Hewitt:

conga or whatever you're doing.

Melissa Amos:

Take up space, be seen. Dance like no one's

Melissa Amos:

watching. Dance with the rhythm of life. I really like

Beth Hewitt:

that because there's something to be said about movement, the

Beth Hewitt:

shifting of energies, the creativity and

Beth Hewitt:

flow in that, like you say, the creating of space,

Beth Hewitt:

but the enjoyment that comes with dance, that letting go,

Beth Hewitt:

listening to your body and how it wants to move, or just

Beth Hewitt:

intuitively moving to music, or even if there's no

Beth Hewitt:

music, or it's very freeing, it's very

Beth Hewitt:

liberating, and it takes us out of this stagnant

Beth Hewitt:

energy of must do it this way. I think of those, like,

Beth Hewitt:

travelators when you're at the airport, when you're like, and then me and Mel are

Beth Hewitt:

just at the side, just running down. We don't need to go on the travelators,

Beth Hewitt:

we can just do a little. On the

Melissa Amos:

travelators sitting on our paces. Yeah, like putting ourselves along.

Beth Hewitt:

So maybe if the listeners maybe are on a path right now and you think

Beth Hewitt:

there's maybe like a specific route that you need to take. Who says

Beth Hewitt:

that there is? Break the mould a little bit. Think about if you want to

Beth Hewitt:

do things slightly differently, then do things slightly differently. If you want to go on

Beth Hewitt:

a detour, then go on a detour. If you want to

Beth Hewitt:

change the music, if you want to change the clothes, if you want to change

Beth Hewitt:

how you're showing up, like the butterfly, then you can do that. Who's

to say you can't be who you want to be? It's the

Melissa Amos:

same message, right? Be who you are.

Melissa Amos:

You're safe to shine. Become the version of you

Melissa Amos:

that you have become. This is not about who you were. This

Melissa Amos:

is about who you are and how you express it.

Sounds to me like both the earth and the

Melissa Amos:

unicorns. So back into earth and air, right? Yeah.

Melissa Amos:

Are encouraging us to really

Melissa Amos:

blossom and be seen. So I love that.

Beth Hewitt:

Will you be doing the conga when you get to your destination?

Melissa Amos:

1000%. Even if I'm on my own, a week

Melissa Amos:

away from my family, it's the first time it's

Melissa Amos:

been. I've been away from them for a week in another country

Melissa Amos:

as well. I think there's. Maybe this message is for me as

Melissa Amos:

well. I think especially as a parent, as

Melissa Amos:

a business owner, as a spiritual teacher, we have these

Melissa Amos:

identities and these responsibilities that we have to put on and that we have

Melissa Amos:

to keep on. And sometimes it takes us going into a different

Melissa Amos:

environment, sometimes it takes us growing our wings and going, oh, my

Melissa Amos:

God, what do I do with these? For us to understand what our new dance

Melissa Amos:

is and how we now in the world. And

Melissa Amos:

obviously, like, a huge part of my life is that I'm a

Melissa Amos:

mum to three gorgeous boys and I'm a

Melissa Amos:

wife and a homeowner and all of this stuff. But actually, I'm so much more

Melissa Amos:

than that. And I think that this time away from me, whether I'm

Melissa Amos:

doing the conga or lying in starfish

Melissa Amos:

pose on the ground in the sun, I don't know.

Melissa Amos:

It's like an exploration, isn't it? What do I. How do I

Melissa Amos:

want to be? And I think that's my intention for this week,

Melissa Amos:

is this curiosity of who am

because it's a different environment and we get to daydream more

about, actually, I would like more of this and less of that.

And how do I want my life to be? Who do I want to become?

What is that best version of me? How can I

fulfill my life and make it better? Not just for me,

but for other people in my family and everybody around me as well. They're very

special, these moments in time when we get to do that. Of course,

Beth Hewitt:

we can do that all of the time. But there is something to be said

Beth Hewitt:

about taking ourselves out of the everyday, the

Beth Hewitt:

mundane, finding the school shoes on

Beth Hewitt:

a morning and packing the bags and all of that. It's good to have the

Beth Hewitt:

break. So wondering what Mel, the version of Mel

Beth Hewitt:

that comes back will be. Who knows? Maybe

Melissa Amos:

I'll turn into the orange and yellow butterfly. Who

Melissa Amos:

knows? And I'm leaving that up to what

Melissa Amos:

arises. We're always growing and evolving, and

Melissa Amos:

the timing for this is super interesting for me because I've just

Melissa Amos:

finished my modules for my psychotherapy

Melissa Amos:

training, so that it's just finished. And that's been a

Melissa Amos:

massive journey for me on a therapeutic session, and stuff has

Melissa Amos:

come up that I'm like, I didn't even know that was a thing.

Beth Hewitt:

Yeah. And I. And last week in the training, I had this massive shift,

Melissa Amos:

and now here I am in this new space

Melissa Amos:

in a different environment away, and I'm going to be working

Melissa Amos:

on my. It's a business retreat, but I'm going to be working

Melissa Amos:

more on self as a business owner, rather

Melissa Amos:

than what I'm doing with my business. And I think that's really important.

Beth Hewitt:

I've been thinking a lot more about

Beth Hewitt:

creating new products and services, and one of the things

Beth Hewitt:

that's coming to mind, and this is like, really beginnings of that right

Beth Hewitt:

now, is this creation of identities,

Beth Hewitt:

that of who we really want to become. Because I think

Beth Hewitt:

we all have an idea of how we want our life to

Beth Hewitt:

be, but do we really fully

Beth Hewitt:

know what it feels like? And who do

Beth Hewitt:

we want to draw from? Who do we really admire, and what

Beth Hewitt:

dropping into their identities, and how do they hold themselves and command the space?

Beth Hewitt:

That kind of thing. So I'm really interested, and we talked previously

Beth Hewitt:

about different timelines, and what if we

Beth Hewitt:

have this doppelganger, Beth and Melissa, and whoever

Beth Hewitt:

you are, as a lister, who has got that entity with

Beth Hewitt:

all of these amazing qualities, and I'm really interested in

Beth Hewitt:

helping people to recognize what that is,

Beth Hewitt:

not just on a surface level, but underneath, what are those real feelings and

Beth Hewitt:

connections, and why is that important to us?

Beth Hewitt:

And how do we go about cultivating and becoming that

Beth Hewitt:

person and quantum leaping into that

Beth Hewitt:

timeline? I love that you are doing that work as well.

Melissa Amos:

I'm loving the synchronicity.

Melissa Amos:

Seriously. I was talking last week about

Melissa Amos:

identity work, literally, on the way home from school

Melissa Amos:

one this morning, I was thinking a lot about identity work

Melissa Amos:

and what that all means for me. And I was

Melissa Amos:

listening to something and conversations with God

Melissa Amos:

series. Yes. Yeah, I've read those a few years. And

Melissa Amos:

Neil. Dunno, she's God. He channels these conversations with

Melissa Amos:

God. They're brilliant texts, I think. And

Melissa Amos:

he talks about how our purpose is to become the

Melissa Amos:

greatest version of ourselves. And

Melissa Amos:

that, for me, is the identity work. Yes. What does that even

Melissa Amos:

mean? And if that is our purpose, then that

Melissa Amos:

means that somewhere there is this greatest

Melissa Amos:

version of ourselves that's already existing.

Melissa Amos:

Because we put that before we were born, we must have put

Melissa Amos:

that as our script, as our vision.

Melissa Amos:

This is the greatest version of me. This is what that means. And

Melissa Amos:

all the while where we're busy and we're doing and we're fumbling through life,

Melissa Amos:

that can feel quite elusive, but it's there

Melissa Amos:

and it's pulling us and it's calling us, and all we need to do is

Melissa Amos:

align to that. And for me, that a

Melissa Amos:

lot of that came when I intended

Melissa Amos:

to put my soul first. It was like sticking with that

Melissa Amos:

intention, whatever that means, and not understanding what that meant.

Melissa Amos:

And then having these flits of, oh, and then the human

Melissa Amos:

comes back. So it's super interesting

Melissa Amos:

work and something that I'm delving into

Melissa Amos:

at the moment, so. Well, interesting. Yeah. That I'm also

Beth Hewitt:

delving into. It's like last night we messaged each

Melissa Amos:

other and it was the weirdest thing, wasn't it? Yeah. Yeah,

Melissa Amos:

it really was. We're definitely in sync now. Our conversations

Melissa Amos:

are obviously staring at something. The listeners, we would love to know
